"You grabbed me," she snarls. Her wings flare and her feathers ruffle standing on end. Anyone who has seen a Thangarian would say she's angry and giving off warning signs that one should approach with caution.

"And if you gave me a chance I could have keyed in my ship's emergency systems to start putting out the fires," she barks again.

"What kind of an idiot grabs a Thangarian like that? Did you get dropped on your head as a hatchling?" Thangarians don't have hatchlings but they use the word because of their culture.
