"Really guys? So close to the Brownstone too?"

Alex Rice-Matthews, otherwise known as the Green Lantern, stands at the mouth of an alley way in full uniform. He's got that brilliant green aura around him and is smirking at a pair of young thugs wielding bats. They had been threatening a man for his wallet and cellphone until the hero arrived. Now they're debating what to do.

"We can take him! That's the lame lantern that can't do anything against wood!" one of the thugs tries to assure the other, shaking his bat a bit. Alex just sighs.

"Two things. Don't need my powers to kick your butts...and well..." he gestures upwards, waiting to see the surprised looks on the criminals' faces.

Once they look up, they see that it's not just the new Wielder of the Green Flame that has them in their sights, but the newest Mightiest Mortal.

"Even if it were just him, I'd put my money on GL anyways. But with me here..."

There is a slight smirk with that.

"...well, lets say that even Dumb Luck can't help you here."
