Tim's protests make Ilya take on a pained expression, and he sighs as he sets his waffles down. "Tim, when you woke up, that was like being born. Also, you don't have to name yourself the way that I am, it's just the tradition of my people and I had never explained it to you."
He then goes to start back on his waffles, his tone gentle as he says "You can choose whatever name you like the best. Few get to choose their names."
