Nothing left but the clean up

"And I shall shed my light over dark evil.
For the dark things cannot stand the light,
The Light of the Green Lantern!"
With a flash of brilliant green light, Alex Rice-Matthews recharged his ring. The young Green Lantern smiled as he felt the power surging within him again. It was a rush he was quickly learning to love. Putting his Lantern back into the little pocket dimension he kept it in most of the time, he starts towards the edge of the rood.
Dealing with all those rioters had been a pain. Especially when a few got it in their heads to attack him just for being green. It was moments like that when Alex was glad he'd trained so much with Wildcat before Grandpa Alan ever gave him his ring. It made dealing with people wielding wooden bats a lot easier. Now that the riots had been ended and the world was saved, most of the people had started making their way back home.
"Well, that could have gone a lot worse," Alex remarked idly, peering down at the streets below.
