Saturday Morning In Titans Tower

Some people get up early on Saturdays to watch cartoons or exercise. Others like to sleep in until noon or later. Tim is neither of those people. He woke up early simply because he did not need as much sleep. And after some flying to soak up the morning sun, the clone Titan has made his way to the kitchen. Tim doesn't need to eat but he knows it makes things easier for him and has enjoyed sampling new flavors.

He's currently frowning at the toaster while holding a frozen waffle in one hand and the box of waffles in the other. After a few moments of reading the instructions, he looks between the toaster and the waffle several times before putting it in the slot and carefully pressing down on the tab. Taking another waffle from the box, his eyes flash red and he begins to cook that one with his heat vision.

"It can be considered whatever you want it to be considered." replies Ilya, his lips smiling as he looks to Tim.

As Tim speaks, he takes a bite of his waffle sandwich and nods his head along. "Naming yourself Tim in honor of him is a very honorable thing," he says, "But you can still have - and be called - a name of your own choosing." he steps closer, his shy little smile back as he says "You could even take part of my name, if you wanted to."

Tim is quiet a moment. "Does this mean that one of those days will be my birthday? And that there will be a party?" he asks curiously.

"Part of your name?" Tim blinks, thinking about the various was to combine 'Tim' with Ilya's name. "Which part?"

Nodding his head, Ilya smiles and says "Why don't we make your birthday be the day that you came to the Titans? That was two weeks ago, right? So.. Some time in September." Tim's questions about names though cause Ilya to shift a bit, nervous energy filling him as he says "Whatever part seems the most attractive, I guess. In some ways, Sikh is your father now, too. Through me, of course.."

Oh lord, if Ilya could turn lobster red, he would!

"I see," Tim replies, smiling for a moment. "I will look forward to the party. I like to see you and our teammates happy," the clone explains.

He gives Ilya a quizzical look when he picks up on the nervousness. "Ilya is the most attractive but it would be confusing to the others if I were to use the same name as you."

Laughing some, Ilya drifts closer to Tim and pokes some at his belly in a teasing manner. "Yea.. I don't think that your powers will let you get as tanned as I am, anyways." He then took a bite of his sandwich, thinking for a moment before he says "Well, I mean you could take Ilya for a name, you'd just probably want to use it as a secondary name."

Chuckling some, Ilya then says "And then you'll have to decide what you want your surname to be.. and in what order you wanted the names." he then shrugs, adding "Unless you want to use Sikh.. or Surat."

Tim just blinks at the poke. All muscle there. "I have been told that if I can not attain a natural tan, I can apply a spray product to simulate one," he remarks.

"I must take time to think on this," Tim replies. "A name is important."

"It certainly isn't anything that you should rush into." agrees Ilya. He finishes off his waffle sandwich then, and offers the clone a smile as he says "Any ideas on what to do today, while you think things over?" There was a pause and he says "What about the carnival? I read about one going on in San Fransisco right now. We could just teleport over there and ride some rides. It'd be fun!"

Tim gives Ilya a curious look. "A carnival? I think that would be a good idea," he replies. "Should we gather the others?"
