She's shooting across the starts in her ship trying to keep a Green Lantern off her tail. This is a huge misunderstanding but she can' get him to listen. How come she can rob and fight with the best of them but the times she tries to do the right thing things get hard.

"This is Red Wing to anyone listening, I need some back up. Got an angry GL on ,my si--- whoa baby!" She barely dances her ship out of the way of another bolt of green. She can see it explode not too far off. Damn it she needs to talk to them!

Why is it no one ever listens? This time she's trying to be good.

"Come on girl," she coos to her ship. "Just keep this up. You're the best darling. Don't let this stick in the mud GL keep us down.... For once it's more than you and me."

She hits the controls again trying to out maneuver the Green Lantern. This is just crazy. How can one angry man keep up with her like this? The Thangarian grits her teeth. No one is going to beat her. Not today! She still has far too much to do.

"Damn it, okay, I'm opening up my cargo bay. Follow the emergency lighting,"Sher calls as she turns back to start punching in commands. Then she starts trying her best to get control of the ship.

"Come on baby, don't fight me. We got a planet full of people I ain't killing," she growls.

Splitting off from Henry, Avalon calls up another netting from his ring and this time spreads it like a great spider web to entangle and slow the speeding spacecraft.

Henry catches the core. "Blue, this thing could take out a star when it goes. I'm getting it away from here!"

He heads out as quickly as he can, drawing the ruptured core with him as he goes.

"GL," she calls over the com. "Just get it out of this solar system. It won't be dangerous!"

She has no idea if he heard her. But she manages to push her ship into the net. She grits her teeth. This is going to be so hard.

If she had a crew she'd tell them to brace for a rough landing. he can see emergency lights going up and punches another button to seal herself in the cockpit for safety as she's picking up a hull breach somewhere on the ship.

Her poor baby is shaking so badly.

Gritting his teeth, Avalon growls back "Roger!" to his partner, then braces for the impact just as Sher was.

With a roar, the space ship slams into the Earth's atmosphere and burns into flames. Avalon seems to have to be splitting his power between trying to shield himself, and trying to control the speeding ship's descent. He's making headway, but it's not enough. They slow, but not fast enough for him to keep the ship from impacting into the surface of the planet.

The impact puts out some of the fires. But not all of them. Sher gets ripped from her seat and knocked against the bulk head.

She swears loudly. The coms are still up and projecting on a frequency Avalon should be able to hear.

"Ow! Shit, ass, balls," the Thangarian snarls. Then glances up.

"Gods damn it! I got multiple fires!" She staggers to her feet and starts trying to get the cock pit open. Something's not right and she can feel herself growing angrier by the minute. She had to save the supplies. She came too far to fail now
