She's shooting across the starts in her ship trying to keep a Green Lantern off her tail. This is a huge misunderstanding but she can' get him to listen. How come she can rob and fight with the best of them but the times she tries to do the right thing things get hard.

"This is Red Wing to anyone listening, I need some back up. Got an angry GL on ,my si--- whoa baby!" She barely dances her ship out of the way of another bolt of green. She can see it explode not too far off. Damn it she needs to talk to them!

Why is it no one ever listens? This time she's trying to be good.

"Come on girl," she coos to her ship. "Just keep this up. You're the best darling. Don't let this stick in the mud GL keep us down.... For once it's more than you and me."

She hits the controls again trying to out maneuver the Green Lantern. This is just crazy. How can one angry man keep up with her like this? The Thangarian grits her teeth. No one is going to beat her. Not today! She still has far too much to do.

"You were blathering about your ship being on fire! Do you think that touching you was any sort of pleasant experience for me? Oh, and let's not forget my bloody broken nose. That is going to be an interesting time, let me tell you, when it comes time to set it. Especially since my ring has been healing my unset nose!" fires back Avalon, his expression thunderous.

"I don't b;lather! I was freaking out! You would too if your view screen was lighting up with damage reports from the sensors!" She's about to get in his face again.

She's maybe three feet from him at this point. Henry should separate them.

"What the hell. Why haven't you set it them? Here let me," she doesn't even think this is a good idea. Oh man the shit is about to fly because yeah she just leaned over and pop.

"And besides you could have said hey you let's get going but noooo. You had to get all hands-y."

Henry's between them now. "Hands to yourselves!" he declares, almost like a third-grade teacher scolding his class. "That's enough from both of you!"

When Sher reached up to grab his nose and snap it back into place, Avalon can't help but go weak in the knees. It's one of those sick to your stomach world-reeling sorts of pain, and even though he's been doing well enough to avoid showing it.. That hurts. Greatly. Plus it makes his nose start bleeding again, and that just is a mess, lavender dripping down Avalon's lips and chin.

"Fine.. whatever.." he mutters to her, before looking to Henry and presses the handkerchief that Sher gave him earlier to his face. "So what are we gonna do about her he asks his partner.

What? She was trying to help!

Now she's confused. But then decides the best thing is to look to her ship. That's when she's hit with a wave of depression. It's likely even with proof no one will believe it.

She's a known thief and pirate. Things never go right. She is just going to have to accept her work will go to waste. The Not-Thangarian obviously has it in for her now.

The cute looking Green Lantern is obviously the sane one here but.... well, he's a Green Lantern. Aren't they all sticks in the mud?

Empathy can be a bitch sometimes, and this is one of them. When the wave of depression from Sher his him, Ava can't help but feel the tiniest bit bad for loosing his temper with the woman. After all, he has been treating her horribly, even if she did break his nose.

To Henry, through their rings, he says \\She's really upset - I think she's convinced that after wrecking her ship, we're going to cart her off to Oa.\\ he paused, then says \\Are there any charges at all? Could we possibly just chalk this up to a misunderstanding?\\

Sher is of course convinced that her arrest is all spelled out. That's not what bugs her since she loves her ship more than anything except maybe food.

She'll just wait and try her est to be good. No need to get resisting arrest added onto her charges. That's not fun judge types get very frowny faced.

Ava raises a white gloved hand up to scratch at the back of his neck, his expression hesitant. ".. Yea." he says, "We aren't finding any charges, and to add to matters, your ship is close to being totaled."

Sher stats to tug at her hair.

"I can make arrangements from people who owe me favors to send parts my way but seriously. Seven hells," she mutters looking where there's a hull breach. "The drive core alone will take at least three standard months to track down. They ain't easy to get for the type of ship I've got since it's not really widely used outside of the Kripatzolth Verge..... Materials for the hull will be standard. Gonna have to do the wiring all over my interior sensors at least though."

She's tally up the damages mentally just from what she can see. It has her almost whimper because she might end up oweing favors by the time she's done.

"I'll send a wave to Pivos. Maybe the old fart 'll give me a discount," she mutters rubbing her jaw because no way is she giving up on this ship.

"We will both help." chimes in Avalon, despite his purple face. It seems that he's not going to hold a little thing like a broken nose against Sher. "We will have to ask, but.. maybe we can give you a place to stay while you fix your ship?" Blue eyes slide towards Henry, and Avalon says "We will have to ask Dad.."

Sher can feel her feathers ruffling. She knows that the Blue Lantern isn't Thanagarian but something about him still puts her on edge. Maybe he got close to that scar in her gut or maybe it's that he has wings whatever the reason he has her feeling defensive again.

But the offer of help is there. She bites down on the need to defend her territory too. That's silly at this point.

"I thank you for the help. And... if you can't that's okay. I can live off the rations I have stored. Rough it. Not like I haven't done that before, least I'll have a roof over my head."

She eyeballs her ship again. Her poor darling she feels so bad about all the work she'll need to put in.

And she still failed to get what she needed to done.

"You're not living on rations while we get this done," Henry replies. "My dad's been okay with lost aliens staying there in the past. It should be fine."

Ava gives Henry a glance, but then backs him up, nodding his blond head in agreement. "There is an extra bed. We made this mess - we will help clean it up."

They're totally ganging up on her. But she just submits because she's gong into herself a bit more and Henry sounds like a Captain.

"If you think it will be fine," she consents. "I will do my best to..... behave myself. I'm experienced enough with aliens to not be too Thanagarian after all."
