Avalon has never gone to one of these juvenile human dances, and consequently, he has no idea what to expect. No doubt things will be mortifying in some way that makes the Naltorian have to keep himself from hiding in a black hole just to avoid it all.

At least he has had good help - Henry was kind enough to help him find an attractive tux, though Ava would have rather not worn the confining suit. Still, it was a lovely silvery lavendar sort of color, more gray than anything, and looked smashing with his blue eyes and sun-bleached hair.

Standing in the living room, Ava looks up the stairs and calls "Hey guys, our ride is going to be here soon." to himself, he adds "How is it that I am the first one ready?"

Dinadan beams at Mandy's smile, then quickly begins brushing imaginary dust off his suit before Henry can start teasing him about the expression he's wearing. He chuckles a bit at Sher's response to Mandy's explanation.

"You have no idea how often I end up saying that whenever I explain just about anything I do up here to my friends back home," he says.
